  • 11-12 school year: worked with Human Resources to help hire new Math, Science, History and English tutors for the  and substituted for absent tutors in all three low-income campuses across Austin
  • 12-13 school year: taught on 1:2 and 1:7 ratios to low-income and Special Education high school students in a High Dosage Tutoring pilot program with a set curriculum that tailors lessons to each group of student’s specific needs
  • Promoted to Lead Tutor of Eastside Memorial in Oct and offered a raise – increased responsibility to mentoring new tutors, training substitute tutors, and checking upcoming lessons for errors
  • Promoted and transferred to Educational Coordinator / Lead Tutor at Crockett in Feb and offered a raise - increased responsibility to managing six tutors, choosing curriculum, communicating lessons to tutors and school administration, creating quizzes, collaborating with classroom teachers and school liaison
